This is the summary of प्रथम अंश (Part One) of Kalki Puran

Adhaya One summary

Shaunakadi Rishi was interested in knowing about Kali (the destroyer of Dharma) and Kalki (the destroyer of Kali) so he approached Rishi Soot. On his request, Rishi Soot smiled and said

“He, who has taken birth behind Brahma (The Knowledge) after the end of destruction or apocalypse was named Adharm, he was the worst of the sins. He was later blessed with a son named Dambh who later was blessed with a son named Lobh and Lobh again was blessed with a son named Krodh. Krodh married a female named Hinsa and they were finally blessed with a boy named Kali (One who was the ugliest of all creations and had all possible addictions). Kali had a son named Narak and Narak had one thousand sons. But the crux of this is that the bloodline carried all who were ready to condemn dharma at all times.”

Adhaya Two summary

All Devas discussed the future problems that are bound to happen because Kali has come into existence and they reached Brahma ji for his help. But Brahma Ji instead suggested that everyone should meet Vishnu Ji. Brahma Ji also accompanied everyone while they were moving to meet Vishnu Ji. On hearing the problems of all devas Vishnu Ji consoled everyone and said

“When the time is right, I will take birth in a city named Shambhala as the son of Vishnu-Yash and Su-mati. I will not be alone, I will have three more siblings Kavi, Pragya, and Sumantrak who will be my essence only. All devis and devatas will also take birth with their powers as my family and friends. Lakshmi Ji will also take birth as the daughter of Bridhrath and Kaumodi named Padma.”

Vishnu ji will also establish Suryavanshi Maru and Chandravanshi Deviapi on Earth’s realm. When Vishnu ji takes birth all devis and devatas will serve and nurture him. Later on, he will be named Kalki and after his Upanayana Sanskar, he will be sent to Gurukul for further education.
